FaceLift^® Compact 325 - Starter Kit

I bought this starter kit along with the Big Boy back pack starter set to get me started while it was in the Black Friday sales. I've got 25 regular customers and counting within a month of starting window cleaning!!

I bought 2 the starter sets each with a carbon pole and brush as I was worried in case something went wrong with one system I had a back up.

This system has been brilliant so far, I'm just ordering some more stuff from WCW, such as rinse bars and some spare hose bits in case I need them on a job.

The only thing I would say is heed the warning when getting the tank off the delivery pallet, or the leisure battery will fall on the floor. Unfortunately due to the delivery driver leaving the pallet against a wall I could not see the big warning notice about the battery being loose until it was too late!!

I can not thank the good people of Window Cleaning Warehouse enough, for the fantastic job they did fitting out my Caddy van with the Facelift Compact 325L! Received really good help from selection of equipment to the install in the van! Top job thank you very much!

Ok System for budget starter,.. easy to fit in Van. Works well..
1. Had problem with 3D PowerUp Reel at first using Hot Water was resolved though..
2. Pump only lasted 9 Month,..still under warranty- but to much hassle to claim it’s not made easy - so just bought New Pump..

Bought this instead of going through the hassle of building my own unit as I'm new to wfp systems. Tank is well built and solid , every component feels like high quality and put together well, looks professional and is nice and compact!

Had the 325 for I think a year now or at least nearly that, it’s not a bad set up for “plug in and play” but there as always are some things that could be better.

I really like the simplicity and low footprint of the system which really helps to maximise the space in your van, I placed it in my berlingo so the reel was pointing out the side door so helped save space and left access to the battery for charging.

Main gripes are…

The hose reel bolt needs to be constantly tightened as it will run out constantly and un-ravel if you don’t keep an eye on it.

Realistically you’ll only ever get about 280-290 litres as it will stop picking up the water as if it’s empty around that mark, I can only assume it’s how the hose is set up internally.

Final moan, the pump isn’t very powerful at all! I’ve recalibrated it numerous times but you’ll need to have it at atleast 70 in order to get a good flow going, the pump will be making quite an bit of noise as your nearer to its upper limit I think.

It got me going considering I was a bit intimidated to have a go putting a system together myself but if your quite handy I’d probably say go for a DIY set up with a better pump.

Not a bad machine. Had one or two minor issues within the year warranty but Craig sorted out replacement parts with next day delivery no issue.
Easy to fit to van and easy to maintain as a starter system

This tank has been great for the most part, it's done a solid job for around 6 months but now the pump seems to be getting louder and it doesn't have as much power as it used to.

Its inconvenient in some ways as well, its solid black so you can't really tell how much water you have left without climbing on the tank and shining a light in there, I also noticed the bolt getting loose on the reel causing way to much hose to come off as you walk with it. The side braces on the reel need adjusting too otherwise your hose will catch it a lot as you reel in.

There is no way to flush the system so any long periods of inactivity could cause the water to go stale, I'm still trying to think of a way to flush the water out.

You have to keep a close eye on it as you fill as well since its just a case of throwing your hose into it and waiting.

Overall I am happy with it as a new starter but there is definitely room for improvement, moving forward I will probably go with a different manufacturer just based on the inconvenience of this one.

Bought the machine in January to move on from back packs and water tubs .to look a bit more next level,not what i expected ,it doesnt come with any instructions for newbies, on installing and using ,you have to buy a shut off valve to fill up save you standing there which also doesnt come with instructions ,you also have to keep adjusting the bolt on the hose reel to stop most of the hose unravelling when you walk off with it ,and now after 6 months of owning it i know need to replace the pump ,which for some reason has very little power ,just feel for over a £1000 in my opinion its not value for money

I bought the compact 325 a couple of years ago.. it's worked a treat only had a few issue. . The bolt that slows the tension of the reel soon wore and is no good. Other issue is don't buy one if you have a kangoo.. it fits in ok but the weight when full is a strain on the van .. my rear axel snapped with the weight but this is after a few years .

Bought on finance great from top to tail awesome real and I’m general just a great bit of kit no regrets
