Not as good as they used to be

I have used the previous version for some years, and found that the cover breaks more easily, and at times catches grass and other debris. This new version is much better.

I've been using these since they came out, and the first ones I bought, lasted quite a while, but on the last few, the rubber washer on the male connector, becomes loose and comes off, so the connector leaks badly, the last one only lasted two weeks. The washers should be sold in replacement packs.
It's a shame, because they are light, and much easier to use than heavier connectors....

Like some others who have commented, I really dont understand how you can say they are trouble. What on earth are you doing? Its so simple a baby could connect the two together, and they stay together and twist apart easy when needed. I can only guess they must be some rival or wanting a gripe.

Rubber Washer broke in 2 days

This product is superb. We have used it for months now and it never lets us downI never normally post reviews, but I felt I had to on this one, because it is a very good product that is receiving bad reviews a bit unfairly I feel. BUT there is one important key that you must do with this product. You must occasionally grease the connecting surfaces between the male and female connectors with an index finger and a little grease, otherwise the product becomes very stiff to connect and disconnect .We clean a lot of windows, 5 days a week 8 hours a day, and this greasing is only a ten second job that needs to be done maybe once a month or so We used the rectus tap connectors for years and they were an absolute nightmare. This product is such a vast improvement on rectus fittings and so I felt it important to say something

Have has endless problems with metal fittings. My husband finds these really good. Had an initial problem at first as it struggled to fit together but fixed with a bit of vaseline. Works really well.

Don’t work don’t connect easy leak all the time waste of money

Great connector but must use dry PTFE spray to lube connectors to connect and disconnect against water pressure :)

Unbelievable and absolutely top quality

Easily the best connector on the market had over ten years being frustrated with different connectors failing and wearing out after a short time

Really like the design, can be a little fiddly under pressure but much better than the hozelock style which lasted me 3 weeks. Have been using every weekday for 6 months and will have only had to replace one fitting due to wear and tear.

Under pressure it's not too easy to attach, but aside from that it's great!

Never leaks, wouldn’t go back to rectus fittings

Fit this exactly how the video told me to and it leaks a lot, also trying to connect the two fitting together is almost impossible, it should definitely not be that hard

been using these for roughly two weeks now but the connection has become very difficult (ive ensured both connectors are clean) but I have to put all my force to get them to connect before I can twistprior to that was great, but dissapointed now

Pressure blew internal boyonnets off lot of money for what they are...fair play they sent me a replacement....but im sticking to metal

The connector s are a good idea but I found supper glue makes a better fixing than O ring's

Purchased these connectors in jan18 and were broken by March hose tail is protected but snapped. They get stuck on bins, walls certainly not anti snag that I promise.

Excellent product, will definitely improve productivity not wasting time running after disconnected or snagged hoses!

Brilliant product, no more running back to reconnect hozelock, less snagging too.

Fitted this connector exactly how instructed it leaks all the time it connects fine until their is pressure on it then it doesn’t connect well not impressed

Got 2 sets of these. Rubbish water in van changed o rings etc constant drip in my van wouldn't bother getting them they are very hard to disconnect as well.

Have been waiting for someone to design something like this. I use metal connectors but they are really designed for air and not water so rust easily and don’t last. This is a great replacement! Easy to fit, easy to connect each time and have swapped all of my poles over to this plastic type. Cheers
