A simple means to clean windows at height with pure water. This kit is perfect for domestic Window Cleaning and includes everything needed to get started, included an upgraded Carbon Composite (Hybrid) pole.

DOES THIS HAVE EVERYTHING I NEED?

This starter kit has all the parts you need to get started cleaning windows. You may wish to add a few items to make things a little more convenient. Here are a few things we think are worth considering:

DO I NEED TO SQUEEGEE THE WATER FROM THE GLASS?

No, you do not need to squeegee pure water from a window. Squeegeeing is typically done to remove soap and dirt and prevent streaks or drips, but with pure water, these issues are not a concern. Be sure to rinse the window to ensure all of the dirt is removed and the windows dry clear.

HOW DO I PURIFY WATER?

Connect your DI Vessel (Unger Water Purification Unit) to your garden hose, connect the pole in the other side, turn on the tap, and voila! You have pure water. 

Over time the resin within the unit will lose it's efficacy, by using the included TDS Meter you can track this with each clean and when the water purity begins to decline, it's time to change your resin. Replacement resin bags may be purchased here:

DO I NEED TO ADD CHEMICALS TO THE WATER?

No, the pure water created by running tap water through the DI Vessel, is all you need to clean windows (read more about pure water here).

If you are cleaning stubborn stains on conservatories and other plastics, you may need a little extra scrubbing power such as our bronze wool adapter. Or to pretreat the surface with a cleaning agent, see our best seller FaceLift RazrWash.

CAN I ONLY CLEAN WINDOWS WITH THIS KIT?

No, the kit can be used to clean the following:

• Solar Panels
• Window Frames
• Fascias and Soffits 
• Conservatory Roofs.
• Guttering & other plastics

WHAT SIZE POLE SHOULD I BUY?

A classic British 3 bedroom house is approximately 17ft-19ft from the floor to the first floor guttering meaning you can comfortably clean ground and first floor windows with a 16ft pole. Should you need to reach a skylight or over a conservatory then 20-25ft would be a better fit and if you're cleaning a three story town house then 30ft is ideal.
