Moerman^® Connector

There are a few lassos around but this is the most well-made I’ve ever seen. Strong end links are moulded on to a thick polyurethane coil cable with blue cord running all the way through it giving it high durability. I had an Unger lasso of similar design (not nearly as well built) and it lasted 10 years with continuous use. As a test, I attached an Ironing board (Yes, I did) to the Moerman Connector cable and swung it from the landing with no problems at all. So this one should last 50 years.

The Moerman is designed to be attached to the wrist whilst up a ladder, on a cradle or on Bosun’s chair but the Velcro wrist strap (which is quite chunky) is permanently fixed to the lasso. You have to remove the Velcro strap from your wrist each time you want to use another tool with the same hand (like an applicator), or have a squeegee swinging from your wrist. This not ideal up ladder. An easy fix would be to make the wrist strap detachable from the lasso cable itself, giving you more versatility on where to attach it.
That being said I’ll make this one fit my needs because of the build quality… If you’re looking for the strongest most well-built lasso ever made, then the Moerman Connector is it.
